A Message of Hope (sort of.. maybe??)

Although this quarantine is not where I particularly want to be right now, nor where I want the world to be, it has given me so much time to think. It’s definitely an odd time to be transitioning into the role of president but I would like to think that this situation that we’re all currently in will not hinder us in any way but will only help the club in the long run.

I’ve thought about all of the fun that we have within the club, with the weekly meetings, ass cream socials, formal, having a night where the full moon made an appearance and we were feeling like going for a dip, finding one another in the office at all hours of the day, and most of all, trips!!! All things that were a part of everyday life, all things that I realize I took for granted. I hope that wherever this new year brings us- virtual or face to face, that we will take the time to soak in the moments that we don’t have right now. I hope it brings us new ideas for where we want the club to go in the future, and that it brings us some more organizational skills (hehe). But most of all, I hope that I see all of you sooner rather than later, preferably in person and in the outdoors. I hope you all are well, finding happiness in the little things right now, and are ready for this next year and whatever it brings for us.
