In the Fall of 2018 Brady Clarke (19’) and Myself went to Franky cabin. On this mission we decided to have Annie’s and Pepperoni for dinner. After the cooking began we noticed extra eggs and got thinking. Quickly the idea of combining the soft delicious center of a fried egg with Annie’s and Pepperoni in a burrito shell pan grilled closed to perfection would be a wonderful meal. The meal was prepped, consumed, and enjoyed. This spectacular meal was re-created for a group of participants on a trip with Matt Clarke (22’) and Charlotte rice (20’) on 4/25/19. I hope you find inspiration.

This poem is dedicated to the perfect egg

We cracked the shell into the hot oily pan--

We were doing the best we can

The Annie’s was poured into the water--

Things were getting hotter

The burrito wrap was becoming warm--

I flip the egg with perfect form

I test the Annie’s with the tip of my finger--

There is no time to linger

The pepperoni is sliced and diced--

Market Basket Annie’s is so underpriced

The three parts are met together--

In a harmonious burrito……. that will last forever…….
